Welcome to the Maranatha Child CARE Centre website!
We hope the information provided on this site will help you to get a good idea of who we are and what we have to offer you and your family in the way of child care services. We are a growing Centre, and plan to be continually adding services to those we currently offer to the residents of Nanaimo and the surrounding area. Please have a look through our site to familiarize yourself with our current programs.
All of our programs are designed to provide learning experiences that will develop each child's potential - emotionally, socially, physically, intellectually, and morally. It is our intent to act as a complimentary extension of the home, creating a secure and caring environment for each child.
Our programs are based on a "developing through play" philosophy, taking into account both individual and group needs and interests. The programs provide for individual choices, decision making, problem solving, and sensory exploration, as well as small and large group interaction.
We aim to foster self-esteem and respect for the feelings, ideas, and property of others.
