Q. Are you willing to adapt your program to meet the needs of a child who requires extra support?
A. Yes. To address any specific concerns, please click here to e-mail us your specific needs.
Q. Does your program have any special features?
A. Our program is set up to meet the physical, emotional, psychological, moral, intellectual, and social needs of each child in an age appropriate manner. Because we are a Christian organization, we will be motivated by Christian morals and principles in all our dealings with your child.
Q. What do you do with the children over a typical day/week?
A. Variety is the spice of life. We try to incorporate as much change as we are able in the typical day. Besides the Daycare room, we have a gymnasium available and an outdoor play area. In this way, the children have a change of space similar to that experienced in a home environment. There is time for structured and unstructured play, time for learning, and quiet times as well. We will provide a variety of discovery and success related experiences that stimulate your child to explore their world in a positive manner.

Q. Can you give me at least two references, preferably of parents who have used your child care setting?
A. The following are some of the comments we have received from parents who use our Centre.
[Our children] know what to expect each day and they understand the rules and routines. But they also have the freedom to do the things that they enjoy without too much structure. They can express their creativity, learn new skills and information, share their thoughts and ideas, develop friendships, and learn self-discipline. As parents we are grateful that our children can experience such a positive environment.
Our oldest child is very sensitive and shy and I was worried that a room full of other children would be overwhelming for him. On the contrary, he has been enthusiastic and excited about going to daycare since the first day. They are never upset to see me leave and are always happy and content when I pick them up, even after a long day. They feel safe, respected, and happy.
We went through a couple of daycares before switching to Maranatha Child
Q. Who provides diapers/blankets/snacks/meals?
A. Parents are to provide diapers for their child. We require your child to bring their own blanket if they are still having naps.
Q. What are your arrangements for when you (or other caregivers) are ill or on holiday, or in case of emergency?
A. If for any reason a teacher is unable to attend, we will do our utmost to find a substitute teacher.
Q. Do you encourage parent involvement? May I visit whenever I wish?
A. We welcome parents who would like to volunteer to be involved in the program, but they will require special training to be incorporated into our childcare setting. Parents are invited to drop in for a visit any time they wish.
Q. Does anyone in your child care setting smoke? What is your policy when children are present?
A. There is no smoking allowed anywhere in the Maranatha building. Any smoking done outdoors must be done well away from the building and not in the presence of your child.
Q. Do you have space available?
A. At the moment, we have space available and are taking registrations. To access the Daycare Program Application for Enrolment click here.
